Meet Your Korean Teacher ๐
I never planned to become a Korean teacher. For over 12 years, I built my career at Kakao and the Korean Embassy. From the outside, it looked like the career I had always dreamed of.
But the moments that truly made me happy were never spent sitting at a desk. They were spent introducing Korean culture to people from around the world, organizing cultural events, sharing kimchi, teaching Korean as a volunteer, and watching someone's eyes light up when they understood something about Korea for the very first time.
That's when I realized I wasn't simply sharing a language, I was helping people feel connected to Korea. Teaching Korean wasn't just something I was good at. It became something I truly cared about.
Today, that's exactly what I do. Because I believe language is much more than grammar. When you understand Korean culture and the reasons behind the language, speaking becomes easier, more natural, and much more enjoyable.
Having lived in six countries and learned several languages myself, I know how exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes lonely learning a new language can be. That's why my lessons aren't about memorizing grammar. They're about helping you understand how Koreans really think, speak, and connect. Because when you understand the culture, the language suddenly makes much more sense.
Whether you're preparing for your first trip, moving to Korea, or building your career, I'll be here to guide you. Not just as your teacher, but as someone who genuinely wants you to enjoy the journey.
